May's Share The Plate

For the month of May, UUCHV will Share the Plate with Feeding Westchester. Driven by the belief that access to healthy food is a basic right for all people, Feeding Westchester leads hunger action programs and mobilizes the resources needed to eradicate hunger in Westchester County. Feeding Westchester is registered as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. They have been hard at work to fill the need of food in Westchester. In the month of March, more than 1.4 million pounds of food were distributed in the county, about a 77% increase from what was moved last March. April's Share-the-Plate

For the month of April, UUCHV will "Share the Plate" with the SPCA. The SPCA (4 Stars from Charity Navigator) is proud to be a no-kill, 501(c)3 not-for-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to saving homeless, abused and abandoned animals and to protecting animals from cruelty and neglect through education and enforcement of humane laws.
