A New Organization Helps to Ease the Plight of New Refugees

UUCHV is a supporting member of this new organization which just welcomed it’s first Afghan young woman in Ossining on January 8, 2022. There is much to organize, services to provide and costs to pay during the first six months to a year until a refugee (and family) become fully financially self-sufficient. It It is estimated to cost between $15,000 and 20,000 to support a refugee.
