Share the Plate for the month of June

will support activities of the UU the Vote which is asking UU congregations to form the backbone of a $300,000 State Action Fund to bolster existing resources to build out the state infrastructure, electoral technology, and on-the-ground organizing needed to make a difference in the 2020 election cycle.

Rather than trying to replicate what other movement organizations are already doing, UU the Vote is working to collaborate with them at the state and local level. The State Action fund will be used to channel resources to parts of the country where the need is the greatest and will include, among other things, offering organizing grants and funding fellowships for individuals, congregations, UU State Action Networks, and statewide organizers to help protect reproductive rights, voting rights, and other liberties.
