EXPLORING BUDDHISM STUDY GROUP

The “Exploring  Buddhism” group consist of members of the UUCHV congregation and the local community, who have been meeting biweekly since the summer of 2005. Our purpose is to support each other in the search for spirituality. We are particularly interested in learning Meditation and Buddhist psychology for dealing with emotions and connecting to our compassionate true nature. The group does not adhere to any specific religious belief system or institution. We are open to all points of views. The meetings usually have two parts. We start with a period of stillness through guided meditation. Then there will be talks by meditation teachers from a wide range of background.  We enjoy sharing insights and experience. Everything is easily accessible and every meeting is self-contained.  No experience or background knowledge is required.  Everyone is welcome. For more information, please contact Tom Newman, at ten10@optonline.net.

*Check out the UUCHV calendar to see when the next meeting is or contact the Group Leader if you are interested in learning more!
