Community Circles (also known as Small Group Ministry) were initiated at UUCHV in 2004. These are small groups that meet together monthly to discuss the theme that we are working with in worship. But these groups are so much more...
Community Circles quickly become a place of intimacy and safety where congregants can share about their pasts and their presents. CC's also often become a place where pastoral care happens among and between congregants. The deepening of relationship that goes on in a Community Circle is as important as the deepening of spiritual thinking.
Our Community Circles meet once a month, some during the day, some in the evening. If you are interested in participating in one of these CC's, please email Rev. Sarah with your preferred days and times. Rev. Sarah will help connect you to a CC facilitator and then you can begin your entry into your group.
Our hope is to one day have most or all of the membership involved in a CC!
If you have any questions, please also contact Rev. Sarah.
I love circles…. I also love community. And strong, healthy community can often be found in circles. Restoration can be found in circles. ~Tandi Rogers
